Unfortunately, I wasn&#039;t able to find anything in Wisconsin&#039;s historic record that revealed a Native American perspective on the holidays, so I can&#039;t offer much enlightened discussion on the topic. Certainly different individuals had different reactions. Many were probably curious about (if not necessarily eager to adopt) the newcomer&#039;s traditions, and I imagine that most were less upset by the arrival of new ceremonies than they were by the eventual suppression of their own. Aside from that conjecture, I lack the knowledge to say.</description>
